As part of California Jobs First and Governor Newsom’s $80 million Regional Investment Initiative, our region was awarded $16.95 million to strengthen the aerospace and defense sector—a transformative step forward for innovation, workforce opportunities, and economic growth across the Central Coast. This investment, led by REACH and the Monterey Bay Economic Partnership (MBEP), puts our region at the forefront of California’s boldest new aerospace initiatives.
