We’re thrilled to share that our region is taking a big step forward for students, employers, and economic mobility—thanks to a powerful collaboration between Uplift Central Coast and the Central Coast K-16 Collaborative, led regionally by UC Santa Cruz’s Educational Partnership Center (EPC).
K-16 Collaborative is investing nearly $500,000 to fund 100 paid internships and apprenticeship opportunities with eight Catalyst-funded initiatives. These funds will help students gain hands-on experience in growing fields and move from high school to college and into high-wage, high impact careers—while building the workforce pipeline our region needs.
